3,000 Miles for Impact: Former Travel Executive Rides for Joy Worldwide Inc.
New York, NY — March 6, 2026 —Joy Worldwide Inc. is excited to announce that former travel executive, Kirsten Hotchkiss, has selected Joy Worldwide Inc. as one of six charities to benefit from her 2,900-mile cross-country cycling journey.
Beginning March 8 in San Diego, California, Hotchkiss will dip her rear tire in the Pacific Ocean and embark on a 6½-week ride across the United States, concluding April 20 in St. Augustine, Florida, where she will complete the journey at the Atlantic Ocean. Throughout the ride, she will seek donations for every mile traveled, turning endurance into impact.
After retiring last year from an employment attorney career at American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT), Hotchkiss chose to channel her passion for adventure and purpose into a nationwide fundraising effort supporting organizations that create meaningful opportunity. By selecting Joy Worldwide Inc., she is helping advance our mission to expand global access to education and international experiences for students.
“We are honored to be chosen as a charity partner for this incredible journey,” said Joy Donnelly, Founder of Joy Worldwide Inc. “Kirsten’s commitment reflects the power of leadership in motion — transforming miles into opportunities for students around the world.”
Supporters can follow the journey and contribute to Joy Worldwide’s mission as Kirsten rides coast to coast, proving that one ride can help unlock futures.
