“I never thought that I would have the opportunity to study abroad, as none of my family have traveled outside of the country and it never really seemed like an option to me. I decided to take the leap and apply to my school's study abroad program, and as I researched more about my program I became more and more excited. The only set back was the cost that this would require. Receiving this scholarship will help relieve some of the cost burden on me and my family. Without this scholarship and the other financial help I have received I do not think it would be possible for me to study abroad.”
