70th Scholarship Awarded Through Joy Worldwide Inc. as Fall 2026 Cohort Marks Major Milestone
New York, USA – September 10, 2026 – Joy Worldwide Inc. is excited to announce its Fall 2026 study abroad scholarship cohort, marking an exciting milestone as the organization reaches its 70th scholarship recipient since launching its scholarship program in 2024.
“Reaching our 70th scholarship recipient is an exciting milestone for Joy Worldwide Inc. Now more than ever, investing in these students and expanding access to global education matters. I’m incredibly excited for what lies ahead and for the growth, transformation, and new perspectives these students will gain during their time abroad,” said Joy Donnelly, Founder and Executive Director of Joy Worldwide Inc.
This fall, Joy Worldwide received over 75 applications from students representing 32 universities, with students pursuing study abroad opportunities across 24 countries. Of those applicants, 49 were Pell Grant recipients, highlighting the continued need for financial support and accessible pathways to global education.
Through the Fall 2026 cohort, Joy Worldwide Inc. awarded $4,700 in scholarship funding to help students offset the costs associated with studying abroad. The Fall 2026 cohort reflects Joy Worldwide’s continued commitment to creating more equitable access to international education. By reducing financial barriers and providing students with resources and support, the organization aims to ensure that more students have the opportunity to experience the personal, academic, and professional growth that can come from studying abroad.
As these students begin their journeys around the world, Joy Worldwide looks forward to following their experiences, celebrating their accomplishments, and continuing to expand opportunities for future cohorts.
